Okay, mermaids and mermaid-like creatures have been associated with mind control, usually through song, though then again, that's the siren's job to work her dirty magical music onto others so they can do her bidding and she can eat their souls or whatever, but this is a bit ridiculous.

Not to mention there are already fanmade characters who can do that. First 's own Robot Master Bell Man, whose resonant ringing allows him to corral schoolchildren with little effort; then 's Living Virus Catonia, who falls madly in love with Cut Man but can technically make any robot bend to her whims by simply touching them with her tentacles while their eyes are open; and finally, Fully Charged has a character who works as a therapist, but apparently in her episode she runs rogue and brainwashes everyone into thinking about glitter or something, so... Irritatingly, he's not called Rock, so we'll just call him... ...A-Aki has to use Drill Man's powers to save the day.

Let's not forget that has in the past interpreted Shade Man as being able to brainwashing other innocent robots by just glowing his eyes. And who could forget 's humanoid-version of Ra-Moon, who plugs his tentacles into other robots like some evil USB drive containing unimaginable evil so that he can control them?
